This Google Pixel bug could let anyone undo screenshot edits

The Markup tool on Pixel smartphones can be used by hackers to undo edits made by the user, potentially exposing personal information. Google has patched the vulnerability, but many old screenshots may still be at risk. Identified by security researchers Simon Aarons and David Buchanan, dubbed the “aCropalypse” flaw, marked CVE-2023-21036, let someone undo some of the edits made with the Markup tool on a cropped PNG screenshot.
