Google Docs now offers more customisation options for tables of contents and better formatting options for all tables. Alongside the Plain text and Links styles, users will now have access to a third default style, Dotted. Additionally, users can turn off/on page numbers and have three options to toggle tab leader styling. Google will also reorganise the options on the table properties sidebar. Google Workspace and personal Google account users will receive these new features over the next few weeks. Users can access these new preferences through the “Table of contents” sidebar.
